Yes my 8 year old younger brother is an All American entrepreneur.
He started at age 7 yeah i know crazy right? Well it was a serious investment to him and he ment buisness. He built his deask 95% by himself. He bought an old beat-up office chair from goodwill (You can find anything there!) with his own money.

Yup with $28 cash he started loaning and he had a system.
You signed his handmade contracts with 2nd grade spelling and handwritting lol that says
1st week - the amounted he loaned + $1
2nd week- all the above + $1
3rd week- all the above + $1
4th week- all the above + $3 .....
So when pizza was ordered and there wasn't enough cash....
Lunch money was needed and dad was at work already....
You owe mom $10 and your grounded if you dont pay her back soon...
That last $5 to get that really cute purse was needed....
HE was right behind you with a pen, a contract, and a sharky smile haha
So it all added up! The $27 DOUBLED and he was so proud of himself! SO when we asked him what he was going to do with all his well earned cash he made all on his own he looked at mom and said
Its for you mom. I started this buisness to pay you back.... When I got my retainers for the first time you said DO NOT LOSE them because they cost a couple hundred dollars and when i lost them i felt very disapointed in myself and wanted to by the new retainers by myself....Yea tear jerker...
The poor kid did this out of guilt not fun....
So what do you do? You give him a big hug tell him he is such a mature kid and thank you for trying but you earned that money so go buy what you want to buy!
