Where do you disapear to?

I believe we all want to ask you ...

Why you never stays for a while, you always just flutter by

as if your wings never need a pause...

After graduating from high school I went on a whirl wind of adventures

Graduation...

Family....

Bahamas...

the Flu...

Tahoe....

Mexico...

Woodleaf.....

Home...

School....

Work....

Only to find out that it is September 28th today and

my baby sister is now 12 years old.

I dont remember much of her as an infant or a toddler

but I do remember that the last time I blinked she was turning 11 and

I bought her Happy 10th Birthday card because in my mind

 she was frozen at 9.

It makes me cry to think of how time has disappeared right from my eyes.
I fear one day as a parent I will blink one too many times

and my little girl will be off to college

and be a young woman just like her mother.

I dont fear her becoming me

because I know she will be a bright

and beautiful young girl

but I fear that she to will close her eyes too hard one night

and she will be turning her tassel and waving into the crowd

at me in the stands cheering her on

before she even learns how to walk.

I pray for each of my loved ones, near and far,

 to pause and looked at who and what surrounds us

 before we close our eyes a little too tight

and another year goes by.

I ask God to give us

appreciation for these miracles we hold in hearts everyday,

humbleness for our blessings,

strength for our sorrow in the speed of time,

&

open arms to those who are lost and

need your help to heal before time escapes them,

In the name of Jesus Christ
AMEN

I ask that we all take this time to pray for not only ourselves but

every life that has crossed our eyes, even if it is in just a short passing.

Tooth too many

So in our house the tooth fairy $ math is:

$1 x your current age =
money under your pillow

 

And when you loose your teeth at 3,4,5,6

 thats not too bad

But when the kids 8 years old and

loosing 1 tooth every couple days ....

You end up broke!     

   

So when Parker lost an

unexpected tooth and held me responsible

for holding on to it...

and I forget to remind him...

and eventually find it on the bottom of my purse

only to tell my mom who doesnt have any cash on her....

its seemed to slip our minds to tell him.... (haha i know how pathetic)So do we remind him now that weks have gone by and he doesnt remember?

Or do we just wait it out until he remembers in a year and we are out another dollar....

There have been many studies of how horribly lazy us humans have become with the luxery of technoligy.

 Do you see the mistake? Neither did I till i got a comment on facebook.

I am one of those humans who cannot spell worth a dam and will need spell check my entire life. It is sad when my 9 year old brother has to tell me how to correctly spell a word.
My reasoning: My mind is too intellegent and busy to worry how to spell words like remember! :)

Next Karate Kid!

For the past 6 year I have been spending some mondays and mostly wednesdays going to

JUJITSU

A well rounded martial arts created for defending yourself.

Well being the kid friendly gal I am they take full advantage of how well the young-ins listen to me! lol 

Quote "um I tried to handle 5 by myself last night w/o her and it was madness! She is coming on wednesday right?" - 3rd degree black belt 

How many kids on average not ...5 or...6 or...7 or...8 or...9 or...10 but...11 or...12

yes 12

It is crazy fun! great work-out! and never dual moment! 

Oh and I ill be getting my brown belt this year! whoo-hoo!

Jujitsu has been such an honor to learn. 

Starting in 5th grade and currently still going.

Nate has been taking it with me and is now a 

black belt which is such an honor to

 be receiving.  Our dojo or school is one of the hardest,

well rounded and well experienced in the area. Many of

 the sense's or teachers have and are continuing 

to train in other martial arts.

O when my brother  MALL HATTER PRESIDENT asked me to go to the mall I knew there was a reason...

He lost a tooth!

YES I mean Paradise! In about 40 days i will be sinking my toes into the warm sand of the Bahamas!

Many seniors have gone to Hawaii, having been there and done that! I moved on to the next location!

My parents being as lovely and amazing have gifted me with this travel for graduation!

So June 7th I will be jetting off to this hotel!

Beautiful right?

It is all inclusive, meaning meals and free! So i wont have to spend $10 on a hamburger or $18 on a personal size pizza!

WHOO HOO MEANS MORE SHOPPING!!!

My Monday Evenings:

Every Monday Night I Meet up with some awesome people at this thing called Young Life. 

What do we do?

feed people gummy bears with our toes while their blind folded

wrap people up like they are mummies

rock out on Rock Band

Eat, eat, and... did I say Eat? 

Say Ohhh Yaaa 14 times during raffles

make people peel, chop, smash, and go Bananas 

Belt songs like we are in the shower and no one can hear us

and Talk about the coolest guy ever

Jesus 

and party in his name at MYO afterwards! 

Young Life does wonders for teenagers and is world wide.

 It is in almost, if not in every county in America, its in hundreds of other countries 

around the world and even is provided third world countries such as Africa.

 What does Young Life do? 

It gives teenagers a save haven and a place to let your life

 struggles be conquered with a little help from this guy,

 Jesus.

I could actually hear angels singing hallelujah in my ears just thinking about it! haha

Its an amazing pure frozen yogurt bar.

and even when it's frezzing we  crazy Monterey people still eat it.

So I went to younglife ski trip like a month ago and it was a blast!!

And the craziest thing was the wearther!

We left Monterey, greyish, everyday weather for the cold and snowy to only find this!:

SUN!!!

like sunnier then the average summer days in Monterey!

SO beautiful!

Ive always been a Kirkwood regular so it was interesting to try something new...

The first day was great!

hittin the slopes like a pro!

Did i mention she is my favorite?

So Saturday was going great and then... I tried to slow down, and I went

CA-BLAM!

POW!

 Then there was a faint

HELP! 

So after catching my breath and walking back to the lodge, grabbed a hot coocoo and some advil I brushed my crash off and being my father's daughter I was back out on the slopes...

Lunch time came around and i was asked about my little bruise on my forhead, thought oh i';ll just go grab an ice pac so it doesnt swell

well first aid had a different story for me and I ended up here:

Laughing... lol

Yea they said there was a possible positive for a

C7

which is a possible neck break, so 911 was called and i waited..

and waited...

still strapped in...

just laying there...

45 minutes later they came un strpped me and I was set free!!!

whoo hoo! 

by the time i was set free it was about time to wrapp up and head back to camp. 

we played games, talked about jesus, lyped sync to love songs lol , and cofessed our fears...

So what did I do for the second day  for 6 houres to pass by the time?

Then at 4 o'clock we said goode bye to the beautiful snow and headed back to camp.

Next day we got up early and head home!
