My daily chore?

The wonderfully sticky, stinky, food filled, cup filled, cereal dried up:

DISHES

No i dont always wear an beautiful vintage apron...

And i HATE it.

 I'd rather vacum and fold laundry if you'd ask me.

And if you ask anyone in the house my level of performance ,

 they would say great

IF

I'd remember to them and not break a dish almost every week

You would think after the 6th glass or so they would say nevermind just do laundry but

no way jose

they wont even budge on the issue...

Unless you live with me, there are things you would never really know...
My friends, my bad habits, my teachers, my favorites,my dislikes, what i do on monday nights, my obbsessions, well mayb you don't hav to live with me to know that one haha

KING TUT EXHIBIT

We went to see it in San Fransico and it was

AMAZING!!!

Seeing and learning about 3,000 year old artifacts that are right in front of you is just one of those things that you can not appreciate until you do.

The prices for the tickets i believe are $18 for children and $25 for adults...

 The exhibit is priceless if you ask me

The only bummer?

No photography...

but you can definitly have fun with a camera in the gift shop haha

So how on earth can we stand being in the car for 2 hours together with out hurting eachother when we can barely surrivive in a house, let alone a car?

luckly Nate had an in car charger and in 30 minutes I had a fully charged Ipod

But to pass time I tried my camera out on my new phone...

umm yes i do have hair where it is in this pic i have no clue haha

but next time i get around to doing my hair beyond a messy bun

New Years Resolution!

As a family we have seemed to have made an unspoken New Years Resolution at that is.... (drum roll)

To explore what we have and have had around us our whole lives that we have yet to appreciate.
Anyone who has lived in Monterey knows there are so many beautiful places right in front of you that you never seem to notice till you are gone...

There has be a reason why millions of people some from all over the world and international events are being hosted here every year right?

On New Years Day We had a carpets getting cleaned so it kicked us out of the house

and we ended up here...

We trailed around for 3 hours looking at the amazing natural creations.

 God has blessed many of us with the gift of sight and we never seem to appreciate how valuable it is...

 to be able to see the ocean, the face of your new born child, the art your brother made for you in class, your daughter in her wedding dress, the amazing price tag of the shoes at marshalls, your daughter's dance recital, or the loved ones surrounding us

 is an unbelievable gift that not all of us are given.
So my personal New Years Resolution this year is

to appreciate this gift,

and nothing else.

We may be unfunctional at times, or cranky, or get on eachother's nerves, or want to just get away but at the

 end of the day there is no one in this house we could live without

(95% of the time haha jk).
